Happiness

Didn't I promise more???
Sorry there are so many, but it was so hard to choose a few...

Are We Mean Or What?

It's starting to get chilly up here and since Kaiya is a short haired dog, we bought her a little sweater. Rian was a little confused the first time she saw Kaiya wearing it. And I can't help but laugh every time I see her in it.

Baby Einstein

Need I say more???

Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving this year we headed down to Ogden to enjoy time with some of Matt's extended family. I didn't take many pictures, but here are a few of Gage and Rian. Gage is Matt's cousin's son and he wanted to hold Rian so badly, so we sat them on the couch together. They were so cute!

I love this time of year. It's always nice to take a break from the hustle and bustle of life and reflect on everything you're thankful for. My list could go on and on. But most importantly I am ever grateful for my family and this wonderful Gospel. My family means the world to me...my amazing husband is the love of my life, my beautiful baby girl is my precious world, my parents are so good to us, my in-laws are wonderful, my sister is one of my best friends and my brothers are such characters and always make me smile (if you know them then you know what I mean), my extended family may be so far from us but are always in my heart, and my dear friends, I couldn't ask for any better than you all! And secondly, the Gospel brings so much happiness into my life. I wouldn't be the person I am today without it and I am so thankful to be a part of it. Sorry to go all sappy on you, but I thought I would reflect just a little bit.

Bed Time Bear

There is a little story that goes along with this so here is a little background info....For quite a few weeks now, Rian is hardly sleeping thru the night. After waking up to a crying baby night after night, I started to get a little impatient with the whole thing. I mean, she was sleeping great since she was a few months old, what happened?
So it's 3 am and Rian starts up again and let's just say I am not in a good mood at this point. Well, I walk into her room pretty mad and what do I see.....Rian standing up in her crib holding on to her bed time bear, it was consoling her! How could I be mad after seeing that? It was so cute! She's never done that before and I have had that bear in there for a long time (I am trying to replace her binkie with the bear, but that might take a while). Ever since then she goes to bed with her bear every night!

Thanks Auntie Marlene for my bed time bear!

Fun Times

At the Utah Grizzles Game!

A big thank you to the Carroll's for having us this weekend! We had such a great time chatting, playing with the girls, eating out, chatting some more, going to a Grizzles game (yes, hockey again!), playing wii (which by the way we totally need to get one), and did I mention chatting? It was so fun to catch up! We miss them so much and are so happy we were able to have a fun a relaxing weekend! We have to do it again :)

I'm 15 Months Today!

My Daddy and Me!

Okay, so I know this post is about a week overdue, but hey, at least I am getting to it now, right? Rian turned 15 months on the 4th and we celebrated by going to a USU Hockey game. And believe it or not, she really had a good time. Maybe it's because Daddy would disown her if she didn't like hockey (just joking)! But really she enjoys watching it and we all had a great time!

Making Music

Ever since Rian was teeny weeny, Eric has played his guitar and sang for her. She has always LOVED it! Since Eric and Matt are in tons of classes together, he is always over here and Rian has grown to love him so much. She gets so excited when he comes over and even more sad when he leaves. It's the cutest thing ever. It will be sad when we move :(
PS - Marissa, do you notice her adorable Baby Gap outfit? It's one of our favorites!

How do you do that???

Can I try now???

Been Tagged...

I usually never do these, but Rian just went down for a nap, so I'll give it a try...

A - Each player lists 5 facts/habits about themselves.
B - At the end of the post, the player then tags 6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

** Five things I was doing 10 years ago:

1) Got my driver's license! And my first car!
2) Cheer, practice or game everyday
3) Enjoying my sophomore year of high school...maybe a little too much
4) Partying way too much...wow how my life has changed
5) Attached to the hip with Lindsey, my best friend

** Five things on my to-do list today:

1) Finish and put away laundry
2) Make dinner, lasagna yum!
3) Make my visiting teaching appointments
4) Enjoy my quiet time while Rian is sleeping
5) Make my Christmas list...my mom asked for me for one even though I am 26. I thinks that's pretty awesome :)

** Five snacks I enjoy:

1) Chips and salsa...a must in our house
2) Fresh fruit especially in the summer
3) Gotta have a piece of chocolate every once in a while, right?
4) Cheese and crackers
5) Homemade Razzmatazz made by Matt. (That's a jamba juice, if you didn't know)

** Five songs I know the lyrics to:

1) The Wheels on the Bus....Rian's favorite song and we sing it about 100 times a day:)
2) Regulate - Warren G and Nate Dogg (bringing you back to the day)
3) How to Save a Life - The Fray
4) Saved By The Bell Theme Song - I know I am copying you Christina, but it's so funny I had to put it down too!
5) Stay - Lisa Loeb

** Five things I will never wear again:

1) My size 0 dickies, I can't believe I fit into those the year we got married, but after having a child there is no way
2) A side ponytail
3) Half the clothes in storage tubs in my garage, it's time to give them to the DI
4) Colored socks. I am plain white ankle sock kinda girl
5) Firefighter pants and jacket. I was one for Halloween a few years ago and it was so hard to convince our local dept to let me borrow it, besides the fact it smelled and was soooo hot and heavy.

** Five of my favorite toys:

1) The Internet...duh :)
2) Satellite Radio
3) Whatever Rian wants me to play with for the week
4) Digital Camera...I take pictures of us all the time, I just never have time to post them
5) Gmail chat

Now I tag....Kacie, Lyndsay, April, Marilyn, Kim, Lorraine, Chipmans
But honestly my feeling won't be hurt if you don't follow through, cuz I have ignored many tags myself

Happy Halloween

We had such a great Halloween. Rian and I went trick-or-treating down Main Street with some friends from church and then we were off to a fondue party with the Rubens! Rian got her first taste of candy when another mom gave her a dum-dum without my knowing. Once I noticed, I took it away and Rian was not a happy camper. I just think she is still too young for candy. Here are some pictures...I know there are so many, but it's so hard for me to pick just a few!
She loves her little pumpkin! It's just the right size!
My little pumpkin...with her little pumpkin!

Our beautiful butterfly!

There's that smile! It's so hard to get her to smile to the camera these days.

The family at our ward's halloween fhe.

Someone brought these huge pumpkins to carve at our fhe.

I love this picture with Tanner, the monkey. They are looking at each other probably thinking 'what the heck are you wearing?'!! And lastly, Rian from the back!
