So Miss Independence wants to feed herself all the time. But she isn't so good with the fork or spoon yet, so we usually have a huge mess to clean up afterwards. Last night she said enough of this using a utensil, and just went straight for the bowl instead! We thought it was pretty cute!

this stage is the hardest!! I have carpet under my table......grrrr! It is so hard to let Kaitlyn "learn" how to use utensils, because it gets all over!!! I totally understand!!
Everyone has to have a picture just like that one with noodles and sauce everywhere. I have one in my baby book.

I love that picture. I just got some Clorox wipes to stock the diaper bag with and a suction cup bowl. You are brilliant.
She is so cute! That is one thing that I am looking forward to...when they can eat will out having to clean up after them. Poppy has a moto of "the bigger mess the better." I love it though!
