Legoland

**I just uploaded several posts! Click on the collages to make them bigger**

Nancee, TJ, and Brea (my sister and her kids) came out for one last visit before our big move (again!). It was really important for us to get our kids together since it'll be three years before they see each other again.

First stop on the list......Legoland California!

Posted by Picasa This was my first time there and I loved it! Partly because we only paid $10/person, but also because it is the perfect park for little ones. And the lego masterpieces were amazing!

Feeding the Ducks

We went to Poway Lake to feed the ducks. But these weren't just any ducks, they looked so weird and ugly! On the way to the park, we stopped to get some bread. But Big Lots doesn't sell bread, so my mom bought each kid a bag of multi-colored captain crunch instead. At first Rian was so disappointed. She said "but Grandma, ducks eat bread not cereal". So cute!
Posted by PicasaAfter we fed the ducks, we let the kids play at the park.

Birthday Celebration

Posted by PicasaIt was my Mom's birthday on March 24th. (I know it's sad I am this far behind on blogging). We couldn't have a birthday celebration without some cake and ice cream, right?! The kids loved singing 'Happy Birthday" and loved the cheesecake and ice cream even more!

Beach Day

My sister couldn't come to San Diego for spring break without hitting the beach. Even though I thought it was cold, coming from the snow covered mountains of Idaho, Nancee and her kids were soaking it up! It was such a fun day!

Sea World...Twice!

We love Sea World! We had so much fun the first time, we decided to go again before we took my sister to the airport! Rian was pretty scared of Elmo, but then warmed up a little bit when we saw Zoe.

Having Fun

When we weren't gallivanting around town, we were swimming in the pool, playing at the park or at the house, shopping, having an early Easter Egg Hunt and just having fun and enjoying our time together!

Posted by PicasaWhen it was time to say goodbye at the airport, Brea and Rian started crying. Probably because they saw Nanc and I crying, but it was too funny. It was so nice to be able to spend time with them. I already miss them so much....thank heavens for skype!

Welcome Joseph!

Welcome our newest nephew, Joseph Aaron Quantrell, born on Christmas Eve 2008.

Mom and Baby are doing great and Baby JoeJoe is growing like a weed!

We are so lucky to be back in the states so we could meet him! Rian loves him and it's so cute to hear her say "Baby JoeJoe"!

I was hesitant to have Rian hold the baby, but she really wanted to, so we gave it a try. Auntie Lauren supervised while I took some pictures. Good thing Auntie was there because as soon as Rian's cousin, Logan, came walking in holding the cat, Rian pushed the baby away and said "I want to hold the cat!". Lauren was able to scoop up the baby right out of Rian's arms before she jetted off the couch to the cat.

Congrats Noah, Jen, Aurora, and Logan on your newest addition! Posted by Picasa

Hanging with the Q's

We have had so much fun spending time with Matt's family! We went to the zoo a few weeks ago and Grandma Wendy treated the kids to a face painting. Rian's first! She wanted butterflies, Logan had a dragon, and Aurora had two swans. So cute! Posted by Picasa

Welcome Apl!

Our newest niece, Apl Ina Trinette Pine, was born on her due date, February 2nd, at 7:46:57 am weighing 8 lbs 4 oz. Everybody is doing well and Apl is already started to smile :)

Congrats Chris, Katy, C and Ruby! Too bad it will be a while before we get to meet this beautiful bundle of joy....they live in Norway :( So we expect lots of pics, Chris and Katy, she'll be growing so fast.

Our Baby is 2!!!

HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY RIAN!!!

My sister wanted to have a little 'mini' birthday for Rian since they will not be here for her actual party. They sang Happy Birthday to her and we all enjoyed cake and ice cream! Rian loves the Happy Birthday song and has been singing it ever since!

Posted by PicasaI am so grateful to have Rian in my life. With Matt being away, every once and a while I start to think about throwing myself a "pity party", but she is always there to brighten my day. She makes me laugh and smile all day long! She has the absolute best personality! I love that she HAS an opinion. I love her independence. I love that she HAS to pick out her shoes for the day....she is completely obsessed with shoes :) I love that she is such a good sleeper and the easiest baby to put down. I love that she can just go with the flow. I love that she is my little jet setter (she has been on about 19 round trip flights). I love her smile....it's contagious! I love her kisses and hugs. I love to watch her sing and dance. I love how she loves to talk to Daddy on the phone. I love how she tells him "I miss you" and "I love you". The list can go on and on. I just love everything about this darling little girl!!! And I know Matt does too!!!

"Pops" and Ice Cream

One afternoon, my mom and I decided to take the kids on a drive up to McCall, Idaho (kind of a ritzy, touristy town). We found this yummy ice cream shop. This is Rian's first experience with ice cream, I guess you can say, she likes it!

We decided to give the kids some popsicles (or pops as they call it) after dinner and BEFORE bath! We will not be doing that again! It was a mess, but the kids loved it :)

Weekend With Family

I was able to steal some pictures from my mom's camera. I uploaded them backwards, but oh well. We had such a fun weekend with our family and spent almost the entire time on our two boats! Lucky us!

Rian waiting for the fireworks. Funny faces.

Family and Friends. Rian and Mommy watching the fireworks...Rian didn't like how loud they were.

Yeah, that's me wakeboarding! Rian playing with her bucket-o-water. Grandma and Rian playing on the beach.

Andrea, Jenny, Rian, and me having fun on the boat. Rian enjoying a nap. Andrea, me, and Jenny getting ready for our CRAZY ride!

My brother, Mike, turned 24 on the 3rd. We sang 'Happy Birthday' and his nieces and nephew helped blow out the candle!
