Padres Game

So even though the Padres are having an absolutely horrible season, we couldn't resist taking our friends up on their offer when they invited us to a game. Now that we have many babysitters, aka grandparents, around, we are thinking we might have many more 'date night' opportunities in the near future! Thanks Chris and Lauren for such a fun night!

Graduation 2008

I am so PROUD of Matt! On May 3rd he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Electrical Engineering! Those of you who may not know, Magna Cum Laude means he graduated with a GPA of 3.80 or higher. Considering the fact that this is an incredibly difficult degree and that he was also helping me raise a baby the last two years of school, this is a HUGE accomplishment! I cannot express the love and appreciation I have for this amazing man.
Many came to help celebrate this wonderful occasion. Both sets of parents flew in from San Diego, his Grandad flew in from Alabama, and his sister came all the way from Norway (well actually she has been out here visiting the states for a little while now, but hey, she is living in Norway, and did come, so that counts right!!!) Not to mention many of his extended family living in Utah or nearby. His cousin Whitney also graduated on Saturday, so unfortunately their extended family had to split between the two ceremonies. Thank you to everyone who joined us in this celebration!
PS Unfortunately we were unable to get a picture of Matt actually accepting his diploma being that this jerk stood up in front of us just as Matt was walking. We were very disappointed and this jerk could have cared less. How rude! But we didn't let that ruin our day and instead headed to old main for some beautiful shots :)

Monkey See, Monkey Do

While I was packing up our home in Logan, Rian kept herself busy by playing on the computer :)

It's Been Too Long....

I know I haven't blogged in forever. We have had so much going on....matt's graduation, our move, baseball games, mother's day, a cruise (just the two of us!), a wedding, swim lessons, matt's mom's birthday, and a trip to the wild animal park. Seeing that we have only been her for 3 weeks, add unpacking to the list and well, you can probably see why I haven't had the time to update the blog. So let me back track just a bit, and as I have a minute here and there, I will let you all see what has been going on with our fam :)
